Finally got my car registered

Registered my car completely on 28/10.
Paid everything off completely.
$648 - greenslip
$30 - pinkslip
$306 - RTA registration.
Total = $984
Now I can drive my car for a year.
When I looked at the total cost, it was quite a lot.
And I think about all the other stuff I could have bought with that money.
e.g HTPC, gpu, ipod/iphone (iphone loses value too quickly, the car won't lose as much).
Maybe I should have waited to see if I got the job at security company before buying the car because the car has a lot of expenses/liabilities.
Nevertheless I have always wanted to get a car since losing the Corona. It feels great to have freedom to go anywhere you want, at any time without asking someone else permission.
