Bought the new ipad today.
First bought the 16gb wifi only. $498.
but then return it after find the usuable space is just 13gb.
Replace it with the
32gb + 4g = $778
After getting home and looking at what other plans available
which are pretty expensive or need to buy one year pack.
Plus I don't think I go out enough to need a 4g ipad.

Lesson:
In hindsight mayb should have just got a standard wifi one.
And use a phone or wifi hotspot on the phone for any time I need internet access.
Also maybe should got a 64gb
only 75$ more but get double the space
and better resale value

note: also since owning a ipad
I am using the ipod touch less and less, haven't touched it
The apps on the ipad are bigger for viewing or better UI

Update
After getting the 4g model and finding out how much it would cost to get a data plan, I think it would have been better to just get a 64gb wifi model and get a phone separately.
I can use the phone as a wifi hotspot, or surf on the phone itself if I really need internet access and only need to pay for one plan.
I just don't go out enough to get a 4g model or pay the expensive data plan.
The best data plan is from telstra cos $150 for 12 months.
And most of the others only last for 1 month.
Lesson learnt:
When deciding, look at what you really need or use it for.
How often do you think you will use that feature?
And what are the other costs not yet considered or known.
