Updating Android firmware directly on the phone

  1. Download the update on the phone
  2. Download the opengaaps
  3. Reboot into recovery mode
  4. Wipe dalvik.
  5. Install firmware from CMupdate folder

Note: If installing a major firmware version e.g. 5 to 5.1, or 5 to 6
  1. You must wipe
    -dalvik/cache
    -data
    -system
  2. Install firmware from CMupdate folder
  3. Install GAAPs. (pico or mini)
