Never rely on one source of backup
e.g. have 2 sources of the same backup in case one backup fails.
and ideally have one offsite backup
Don't put everything all important in one drive.
This rule is goes back to first rule
Backup will fail
It is not a question of if but when.
RAID is not a backup.
-If RAID is corrupt then, it won't rebuild.
